A day at Jordans Fireworks: Importers of the Lunig Ball and Hammer rockets. UKFR member Glen "The Joker" spends a day with Jordans fireworks and reports back.

A day at Spyrotechnics: A new venture offering pro displays and retail fireworks from Chesterfield. We go behind the scenes at a demo evening to test fire a range of items from Cube and Fireworks International, and to meet the Spyrotechnics crew.

A day at Dynamic Fireworks: Importer of the Planet brand and one of East Anglia's biggest professional display companies. We check out huge piles of fireworks and other delights in a WW2 bunker.

Another day at The Firework Emporium: We return for their second annual review night, but before the action we starts we take an opportunity to have a good look around their shop too. Langley: A look behind the scenes at Langley School for their summer fireworks display with Skyscenes Pyrotechnics, plus photographs of the display itself. This was one of our most enjoyable summer afternoons!

Semi-Pro Championships 2003: In its second and final year, this event saw five teams of amateurs compete on a level playing field of £500 of consumer fireworks. See what you could do with just £500 of fireworks - the results are amazing. Members can download full screen video of each display and the professional ending by MLE Pyrotechnics.

National Championships: The national championships in Plymouth each August is perhaps the best free fireworks display in the UK with six professional teams ripping open the sky over two nights. We were there to capture three displays from the 2001 event.

A day and a display at 1st Galaxy Fireworks: UKFR roving reporter David Poyton drops in to see Lee and the crew at 1st Galaxy for a look around their shop before heading off to a pro display with them!

BPA Fireworks Training: Level 1 and 2 training, display experience and opportunities to fire professionally.

Lowestoft 2002: Airshow plus fireworks = one of our best assignments ever. We still look back on these two days with fondness, it had everything - pyro, sun, sea, jets, air crashes, lifeboats, seasickness... heheh...

MEMBER DISPLAYS & MEETS

Dorset III: Our biggest feature so far on a member event. Huge quantities of cat 3 and helpings of cat 4 from visiting pro teams. Two members celebrate their wedding anniversary with the help of Rocket Rev followed by an evening of pyro mayhem. Check out the fireball! Stunning!

Dorset Episode I: A meeting of UKFR members at a private fireworks party organised through our forum by member Gerry. Several dozen members and in excess of £4k of fireworks fired in just under 30 mins makes for a stunning show. Seventy pictures and over 100Mb of video for members to enjoy.

Starsky's fireworks meet: It started as a suggestion in the forum, it ended as the UKFR's first member-organised meet in Starsky's back yard. Loads of pyro, loads of firework nutters, and get your cats in because Adam Hills is cranking up the volume.
